Oransi Air Purifiers for San Diego Residents
Issues were raised in September 2024 in Imperial Beach, California from residents who live by the pollution in the Tijuana River.
This southern San Diego city reports strong odors smelling like rotten eggs and acute illnesses including wheezing, a persistent cough, nausea, and headaches.
Oransi is working with the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District to provide air purifiers for residents affected by air pollution related to the Tijuana River pollution and PM2.5 air pollution in the area. The first distribution event was in December 2024 with more planned in the future!
